Paul Miller Racing has been a leader in North American sports car racing for over ten years. The team combines a disciplined approach, strong technical skills, and top driving talent. Every race weekend, they aim to compete at the very front of the pack.
The team began competing professionally in Grand-Am and the American Le Mans Series, opening the door for a full-time IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign beginning in 2014. From the start, the goal has been the same: match factory team performance, race without compromise, and earn top championships.
Racing Roots with Champion Standards
Paul Miller built the program on his own racing success. In the 1980s, he directed Porsche's Trans-Am campaign, earning a highly sought-after reputation in IMSA endurance racing. Some of his career highlights include:
- Three endurance racing starts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans
- Nine appearances at the Rolex 24 at Daytona
- A GTO class victory at Daytona in 1988
These experiences still guide the team's approach today. A skilled international team manages engineering, logistics, and performance year-round. The main base is in Buford, Georgia, with additional operations in Parsippany, New Jersey.

The 2018 season was a turning point for Paul Miller Racing as its alliance with Lamborghini Squadra Corse translated into championship success. With the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 as its weapon of choice, the team transformed opportunity into titles and established a new competitive benchmark:
- IMSA GTD Team Championship
- IMSA GTD Driver Championship
- IMSA GTD Manufacturer Championship
The 2020 campaign added another milestone, highlighted by a Rolex 24 at Daytona win and a Michelin Endurance Cup title that cemented the team's reputation within IMSA's top tier.
In 2022, the team's strategic move to the BMW M4 GT3 was a partnership that quickly paid off, turning their careful preparation into top racing results, including:
- IMSA Sprint Cup Championship in 2022
- Five GTD class victories in 2023
- GTD Team and Driver Championships in 2023
- Manufacturer title support for BMW
- Back-to-back Sprint Cup honors
In 2024, the team expanded that trajectory into the highly competitive GTD PRO division, earning the Michelin Endurance Cup, highlighted by a GTD PRO class win at Virginia International Raceway. This accomplishment underscored the operation's skill and resilience in a heavily stacked field.
In 2025, Paul Miller Racing took the next step by running its first two-car, full-season GTD PRO effort with two BMW M4 GT3s driven by factory BMW drivers. With an average driver age of just 24, this young lineup is one of the strongest around. Extra BMW factory drivers join for endurance races like the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
