To rival the widely popular Tesla models, Porsche is launching a high-performance all-electric vehicle, the Porsche Taycan. This fast-paced electric model is set to be released for sale in December 2019 in two trim levels, the Turbo and the Turbo S. Here's a closer look at these two outstanding vehicles.

  • 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo - Featuring up to 616-horsepower (or 671-horsepower with the Overboost feature), 627 pounds-feet of torque, and a 3.0-second zero to 60 miles-per-hour acceleration, the Turbo is ready to get your heart racing. You'll also find a top speed of 161 miles-per-hour, up to a 280-mile electric range, and a minimum recharge time of 22.5-minutes.
  • 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S - For even more power, drivers will want to consider shelling out the extra 30 grand for the Turbo S. This variant provides 616-horsepower (751-horsepower with Overboost), 774 pounds-feet of torque, and 2.6-second zero to 60 miles-per-hour start time. It also includes a 161 miles-per-hour top speed and a 22.5-minute minimum recharge time, but its range goes down to a top range of 256-miles.
